Crockpot Rolls are easy and fast because they are made with frozen rolls. They are delicious with a garlic parmesan topping and no one will know how easy they were to make.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe!
When I tell people these garlic cheese rolls were made in the crockpot they never believe me. And then when I tell them they are made with frozen rolls they are truly amazed!
Fast and Easy: These slow cooker dinner rolls are a version of a Magleby’s rolls, one of my favorite recipes. Learning to make them in the crockpot has been life changing! You don’t need to let the frozen dough thaw and you don’t need to take up oven space to bake them. They are just as delicious as the oven version.
Go with Everything: The rolls pull apart easily and are the perfect addition to just about any meal. We love them with soups, pastas and especially at the holidays when the oven is busy with so many other things.

Tips from leigh Anne
- Sprinkle the top before baking with some flaky sea salt for a fun flavor variation.
- Change up the herbs you use, try some fresh oregano or thyme in addition to the parsley.
Frequently Asked Questions
If my crockpot is old will they take longer to cook?
Yes, older crockpots don’t cook as hot so they will take longer to cook through.
Can I make these in the oven instead?
If you prefer to use your oven, use this recipe.
Can I make crock pot rolls ahead of time?
You can but I prefer to eat them fresh and warm.
Can I freeze crock pot rolls?
You can freeze them after they are completely cooled in an airtight container or a zippered freezer bag, store in the freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator. Rewarm by wrapping them in foil in the oven or for a few seconds in the microwave (over warming in the microwave will make them tough.)
