This delicious Ginger Skirt Steak salad starts with marinated skirt steak and a bed of greens and is topped with a ginger salad dressing. A summer salad even the heartiest of appetites will enjoy.
A few years ago I was on a short lived low glycemic diet. This ginger steak salad was the best thing to come out of that eating plan. At the time I was making my usual salads, topped with chicken or even pork. Wanting something different, I decided to try some red meat with my greens. A skirt steak salad.
I found this recipe while I was doing some looking around over at The Pioneer Women. It should be no surprise that her ginger steak salad recipe was delicious.
If you are looking for a delicious summer dinner idea, fire up the grill this weekend and give this skirt steak salad a try. I am not sure if it is the marinade or the ginger dressing that makes it so delicious. Maybe just the combination of both, but even husbands will enjoy this salad.
The flavor is wonderful. I loved the addition of the lime juice in the salad dressing. And the slightly sweet taste the steak gets from the brown sugar in the steak marinade. I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.
