Dress up your regular old burger quickly and easily with these Teriyaki Hamburgers.
I am beginning to think summer has come and gone already here in Portland. We had several 100 degree days and then the next day the temperature dropped to 60 degrees and I had to turn the furnace on! I am hoping summer comes back.
Regardless of the temperature, we love using our BBQ. We will even pull out the umbrella to stand out in the rain grilling. Nothing tastes better than a home grilled hamburger. We love dressing ours up a bit with this recipe for Teriyaki Hamburgers.
This is one of our favorite ways to fix hamburgers. Teriyaki Hamburgers are quick and yummy.
Pineapple and teriyaki are the perfect combo so I dressed up the hamburger up a bit by adding some grilled pineapple rings. I bought a cored and peeled pineapple at the grocery store or you could totally used canned pineapple slices too.
And then I cut it into rings. I like to grill some extra just for snacking on.
Just follow the directions for grilled pineapple here. We topped our burgers with the grilled pioneapple, fresh tomato, lettuce and red onion.
I’m a firm believer in toasting my hamburger buns. A little bit of effort makes a big difference in taste in my book! And if that burger is a little lonely, try pairing it up with my Mariner’s Garlic Fries !

Waiting for some sun here, but wow–as soon as we get some dry weather, I’d love to give those a try. They look fabulous.

I made your chocolate chip cookie pie yesterday (with an oatmeal pie crust) and it was AMAZING. Our friends devoured it with us while we enjoyed an episode of LOST 🙂 Thanks for sharing it!
My husband loves the Banzai burger at Red Robin. So I knew I had to make these. Now we can have them at home! They were a hit for sure. Thanks!
