White Chocolate Oreo Cookie Balls are the perfect way to add some Christmas cheer to your holiday cookie plate.

White Chocolate OREO Cookie Balls

This post has been sponsored by OREO but all opinions are my own.

OREO cookie balls are just about as fun to make as they are to eat.  They are simple to make and you can get as creative as you like with them.  Your friends are going to be impressed.

Dressing them up with a coat of white chocolate and some Christmas sprinkles or crushed peppermint makes them even more yummy and fun to eat.  OREO Cookies are pretty much a staple at our house.  Make sure that the next time you visit your local Kroger grocery store you pick up an extra bag or two to make your own OREO cookie balls.  One of the great things about these fun treats is you only need three ingredients – OREO cookies, cream cheese and white chocolate.  (and sprinkles too, if you’d like) They are so easy to make the kids are going to love helping make them, especially if there are sprinkles involved.

I  made OREO cookie balls several years ago for a large women’s event at church and they disappeared immediately!  The women loved them.

Here is how easy they are to make:

Put the cookies and your cream cheese into your food processor and pulse until it is nice and combined.

It will be nice and creamy.

Form the mixture into balls.  I used my one inch cookie scoop.  Then place them in the freezer for about an hour.  The original directions say 10 minutes but I found them easier to dip if I froze them for longer.

Melt your white chocolate and then dip your frozen cookie balls into the chocolate, making sure to cover the entire ball. Tap off the excess white chocolate before placing them on a sheet.

Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet and add your favorite toppings – sprinkles and crushed peppermint work great!

If you don’t eat them all right away,  be sure and keep them refrigerated because of the cream cheese. Your friends are going to crazy over these little bites of deliciousness!

They are almost too pretty to eat but don’t let that stop you.

I love that I have a Kroger store, QFC, just a couple of blocks from my house.  I can easily pick up all the OREO Cookies I need to make more OREO cookie balls because I don’t think this batch is going to last very long!
