This easy and delicious peanut butter dip is perfect for dipping apple slices, carrots, celery or whatever you prefer! Kids young and old will love it and you’ll watch it disappear.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe!
Peanut Butter and apples was one of my favorite snacks as a kid. I would dip the apples directly in the jar. This dessert dip takes that idea up a notch. My favorite thing to dip into this peanut butter dip is a crisp granny smith apple.
Peanut butter dip makes the perfect after school snack or a great addition to any party or gathering you might be having.
Ingredients Needed
- Creamy Peanut Butter
- Cream Cheese
- Brown Sugar
- Milk. I like to use whole milk or 2 % milk as it helps make the dip creamier.
- Vanilla Extract
How to Make Peanut Butter Dip
- Allow your cream cheese to sit at room temperature for an hour to soften.
- Combine softened cream cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract into a mixing bowl.
- Stir until all the ingredients are combined and it is smooth and fluffy. About 3-4 minutes. Can use an electric hand mixer or stir by hand.
- Refrigerate until 20 minutes before you are ready to serve.
Pair This With:
- Apple Slices. I refer Granny Smith or Honey Crisp.
- Celery sticks
- Strawberries
- Graham crackers
- Pretzels
Tips from leigh Anne
- Be sure that your cream cheese is softened, this will help prevent lumps in your dip.
- Remove dip from refrigerator about 20 minutes before you are going to serve. I find it is easier to dip with if it is allowed to sit at room temperature before serving.
- For a fun flavor variation, add in a teaspoon or so of cinnamon. Another option is to add in some flaky sweetened coconut. A handful of mini chocolate chips or cut up peanut butter cups is also a fun addition.

Yes, you can use your favorite brand of peanut butter. I always use creamy but a crunchy peanut butter would also work.
