Nutella Marshmallow Popcorn is the perfect combination of sweetness and gooeyness.  Bet you can’t stop eating it!

Nutella Marshmallow Popcorn

Several years ago I posted a recipe for Marshmallow Popcorn.  I recently made a video of it and it’s gone a little crazy over on Facebook.    Marshmallow Popcorn is easy to make and so delicious so I decided to take it to the next level.

Nutella Marshmallow Popcorn

Your movie nights are never going to be the same!  We are big popcorn eaters at our house and popcorn has even been known to work as dinner more than a few times (at least for me).  It’s corn so it’s a vegetable, right?!

How to Make Nutella Marshmallow Popcorn

For this dressed up version of Marshmallow Popcorn, you can use microwave popcorn if you’d like (3 bags full) but I like to use this handy dandy little microwave popcorn popper and pop my own.  You don’t get all the salt that way!    Check it out here.  I used 24 cups of popcorn which was about 3 batches in my little microwave popcorn popper.  Put your popcorn in a large bowl and then melt your marshmallows, butter and brown sugar in the microwave.  Stir in your Nutella and you are almost there.

After the Nutella is mixed in with the marshmallow mixture and nice and smooth, pour it all over the popcorn.

Stir until all the popcorn is covered with Nutella marshmallow goodness and then spread the popcorn out on a large baking sheet.

Let the popcorn set up a bit.  It will be nice and gooey even after it sets up.  I of course can never wait for it to set up so I always dig right in.  The gooier the better as far as I’m concerned!!

Nutella Marshmallow Popcorn

I’ve made this Nutella marshmallow popcorn two different ways.  One way is gooier than the other.  Use the full amount of marshmallows for the gooiest version or for a little less gooey version cut the amount of marshmallow in half.

How would you store it? Fridge or just on the counter?

Thank you for this…I’m going to use peanut butter in place of the Nutella because we aren’t Nutella lovers.

Oh my, yes, I remember Sunday nights! We had floats–root beer, or Seven-up and vanilla ice cream, and regular ole’ popcorn. First was Lassie, then Disney, then the “little kids” (my three youngest siblings) had to go to bed. My brother and I, however, got to stay up to watch Bonanza. (I might or might not have had a crush on Little Joe.) Ah, those were the days! And this popcorn looks deliciously deadly! 🙂

Where does the brown sugar come into for the Nutella Marshmallow Popcorn? It is in the instructions, but not in the ingredients?
