If you love smoothies for breakfast or as a healthy snack, you will love this delicious Mango Banana Smoothie recipe!
I am a smoothie girl. I love starting my day off with a green smoothie. I usually have 1-2 a day. My husband is the green smoothie maker at our house though. He gets up at 4:45 a.m. every morning for work and makes a double or triple batch and leaves me one or two in the refrigerator for breakfast and lunch. Isn’t he a sweetie? Right now we have a garden full of spinach and kale so he just goes out to the garden each morning and cuts his own greens. I am going to have to get him to do a guest post here on the blog to share how he makes them every morning because I am never awake when he does!! I do love to use my blender though to make fruit smoothies. I love to try different combinations of fruit, usually whatever I happen to have on hand or in the freezer. A few weeks ago I bought a big bag of frozen mango at the Costco so I decided to use it in a smoothie. I was in the mood for something tropical. The best thing about a smoothie is you can just figure it out as you go. Use what you have on hand and go by taste! I also had some bananas and pineapple juice so I added those in too. I added in some Honey Greek Yogurt and ice and then just blended away. I just added in more juice until I got the consistency I like.
