All of the delicious flavors of your favorite cookie in an ooey, gooey chocolate chip cookie pie. It’s the classic chocolate chip cookie in pie form.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe.
This recipe is a classic. I have been making this recipe I have been making for over 30 years. My favorite dessert of all times is a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is a the perfect combination of a warm chocolate cookie and a piece of pie. Sometimes called a Toll House pie or Derby Pie, the filling tastes just like cookie dough! The original recipe came from the back of the Toll House chocolate chip package.
This chocolate chip pie is an easy one to put together and you probably have all the ingredients you need on hand. It is a perfect last minute dessert. I like to keep frozen pie crusts in the freezer so that when the urge hits I am ready to go! If you don’t have a pie crust in the freezer you can always make one from scratch. It is one of the easiest pies you can make.

Tips from leigh Anne
- For a deeper richer flavor use half brown sugar and half granulated sugar.
- Instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips use milk chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips in your chocolate chip cookie pie.
- If you are fan of nuts in your baked goods, add in 1/2-1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make chocolate chip cookie pie with nuts?
Absolutely. Add in 1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts.
Can I freeze chocolate chip cookie pie?
You may, You can freeze it unbaked and then thaw and bake or freeze it baked and thaw at room temperature before eating. It will last in the freezer, wrapped air right for 2-3 months. To reheat, place covered with foil in a 350 degrees F oven for 15-20 minutes r just put it in the microwave by the slice. for a minute or so a slice.
Is it better to eat chocolate chip pie cold or warm?
Hands down, warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is my favorite way to eat it. It will be ooey and gooey and delicious. If you prefer the pie more set up, allow it to cool to room temperature.
My pie is really runny?
The pie will be ooey, and gooey if you cut into it when it is warm. If you prefer a firmer texture allow the pie to cool to room temperature. If it is still too runny, try adding 1-2 Tbsp more of flour the next time you make it, if you are at a higher altitude it may need the extra flour.

Oh Leigh Anne, I NEED a piece of this RIGHT NOW! Seriously I’m about to lick the screen. I’ve had something similar to that but it’s been so long and I’ve never made it myself. I’ll definitely be trying it!
Oh, and I have a Skookie pan too, they’re fun!
Kirsty says

Oh, yum! My daughter and I are trying to lick the computer monitor! That looks great!

I found a cute cast-iron skillet called Skookie which is made specifically for the Pizookie-type dessert. Oh yum-oh yum! This pie looks killer good. Can you pretty much put any c.c.c. recipe into a pie crust and come up with the same result? I would think no, because your recipe only has 1/2 cup flour. And, I love you for leaving out the nuts. I will be doing the same. Yucky nuts!
