Most of the ingredients for this chili are probably already on your pantry shelf. If you would like help in putting together your pantry check out my post on Pantry Staples.

- Put meat along with your beans and tomato paste into the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.

Our favorite way is to serve it over rice but try some of these other combinations.
- Rice
- Skillet Cornbread
- Sweet Potato Fries
- Baked Potato
- Homemade Biscuits
What To Put on Top of Chili
- Fresh Avocado
- Cheddar Cheese

The liners are “Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners”. I use them all the time. The stores usually have them by the Reynolds oven bags for turkey’s, etc. Saves on all the scrubbing. I have one of those Scotch Brite Dishwands, too, and they are also very useful for cleaning.

I just spray my crockpot with PAM or any brand, like the
Costco brand, and it makes cleaning much easier!
Never seems to effect taste or the food either!

Also a really neat trick is to put a drying sheet (like Bounce, for example) into your crockpot and fill it up with water and let it sit. All of the residue will clean right up beautifully with a sponge. Works like magic 🙂

I have never heard that trick before! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much for sharing

There are bags you can buy now that you put in your slow cooker before you add the ingredients. Even easier. Don’t know tha brand but several friends have used it.

Trisa – will have to look for those!
