An unusual combination that works! White Chocolate Frito Popcorn may sound strange but you won’t be able to stop eating it.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
This is a fun treat that you will love. Popcorn and Fritos are covered in white chocolate and tossed with M&Ms. The perfect mix of salty and sweet. Change up the color of the M&Ms for a fun holiday treat.
It is easy to put together and guaranteed to become one of your favorite snacks!

Ingredients Needed
- Popped popcorn, make sure to remove any unpopped kernels. I use my airpopper to make the popcorn.
- White chocolate, almond bark, melts or use white chocolate chips
- Frito Corn Chips
- M&Ms

How to Make White Chocolate Frito Popcorn
- Using an air popper or a pan on the stove top, pop 8 cups of popped popcorn. Remove any unpopped popcorn kernels.
- Place popped corn into a large bowl and add in Fritos.

- Melt a pound of white chocolate melts or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave or use a double boiler on the stove top.

- Pour melted white chocolate over the popcorn and Fritos and stir to coat.

- Spread it in a single layer on a cookie sheet or a piece of wax paper or parchment paper on the table and then sprinkle the top with the M&M’s while the chocolate is still wet and warm.
- Allow to cool. To quicken the cooling process you can put it into the refrigerator. Let cool.
This may seem like a strange combination but trust me on this one! It’s addictive.
Tips
- Make sure to remove any unpopped kernals from the popcorn before coating in white chocolate.
- You can easily change up the mix by adding peanuts, pretzels, or your favorite candy.

This looks yummy, and I am usually a popcorn purist (just real butter, please)! I will be trying this. Your new blog design is gorgeous!! Sorry it was down for a while… over on facebook I tried to find a link to it on your page when you were asking people to check to see if they could see it… but I couldn’t find a link anywhere. I am a subscriber, though, so I could click through my blogger account. I also just checked out your daughter’s blog. She is just adorable. Have you written any tips for fostering such an awesome mother-daughter relationship? I would love to read about that! I have a sweet 11yo daughter and I pray our relationship stays strong and close. Blessings!

Mmmmm…
I wish I could find REAL white chocolate (not white chips that don’t have real cocoa butter in them) around here (Utah) besides Bakers brand. Too $$ for the amounts I always need to use. I love the M & M idea. They always come in seasonal colors so this could be made year round in seasonal colors. Thanks for posting! I love your blog:)

Use Almond Bark. It is a lot cheaper than white choc. chips. It is also white.

Hi Leigh Anne,
Last summer my daughter was a counselor at a youth camp and she took a big container of the white chocolate covered popcorn mix (your recipe). It was the adults that devoured it. Great recipe! I’m also very excited about your Raspberry Dream Muffin recipe that I made this morning. I think they must be about the very best best muffin I’ve ever made. I agree…fresh raspberries are so worth it in this recipe. Thanks for all the wonderful recipes and inspiration!

I was also thinking white chocolate & Fritos might taste a little strange together, but I liked pretzels in my cookies so it is worth a try!
