Tips from leigh Anne

  1. Don’t overbake. For soft, fudgy cookies, remove them from the oven when the edges are set but the centers still look slightly underbaked. They’ll continue to set as they cool.
  2. Use good-quality cocoa powder and chocolate. Since chocolate is the star of this recipe, using high-quality cocoa powder and chocolate chips will give you the richest flavor.
  3. Customize your chocolate mix. Swap in dark, milk, or bittersweet chocolate for a fun twist. Use your favorite combination to make these cookies uniquely yours.
  4. Chill the dough if needed. If your dough feels too soft or sticky, a quick chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes will make it easier to scoop and help prevent spreading.
  5. Add extra chocolate on top. Press a few extra chocolate chips into the tops of the dough balls before baking for bakery-style cookies that look as good as they taste.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store triple chocolate cookies?

Store baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4–5 days. You can also freeze them after they are baked for longer storage.

Can I freeze the cookie dough?

Yes! Scoop the dough into balls and freeze on a baking sheet. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag and store for up to 2 months. Bake straight from frozen, adding an extra minute or two to the baking time.

How do I keep my cookies soft?

Be careful not to overbake them. Pull the cookies from the oven when the centers still look slightly soft. Storing them in an airtight container will also help keep them tender and chewy.

These Triple Chocolate Cookies are the perfect treat for anyone who can’t get enough chocolate. Rich, soft, and loaded with layers of chocolate flavor, they’re easy to customize and even easier to love. Whether you’re baking them for a special occasion or just because a chocolate craving strikes, this recipe is sure to become a go-to favorite in your cookie collection.
