This Copycat Chipotle Guacamole Recipe tastes just like the real thing! Â Trust me, I have had plenty of first hand experience!!
Cinco de Mayo is tomorrow and if you make only one thing to celebrate, make it this Copycat Chipotle Guacamole. Â It is amazing! Â I love a good copycat recipe and this is a good one. It tastes just like the real thing.
I am not a big lunch eater. Â Usually it is a protein shake but if I am out running errands anywhere in the vicinity of my local Chipotle restaurant I will make a stop for an order of guacamole and chips. Â Totally one of my favorite things for lunch and I usually have the whole thing finished by the time I get home. Â Yes, I eat in the car. Â Lucky for me they are opening a new Chipotle even closer to my house. Â Danger!!
But guess what!?  It is so easy to make at home and it tastes exactly the same.  The ingredient list is short – avocados, jalapeno peppers, lime juice, red onion, cilantro and salt.  Of course you will need a bag of chips to go with it.  I only used one jalapeno but if you want a bit  more kick, use a few more.
Dice up your avocados, peppers, onions and cilantro.  Add in the lime juice and salt and then mash it to your favorite guacamole consistency.  I like mine, not too chunky and not too smooth. I like it just right!
A bowl of guacamole and a bag of chips and I’m one happy girl!! Just grab a chip and dig in!
