7 Up Biscuits are light, flaky, tender and delicious!  The lemon lime drink is a not so secret ingredient to biscuit perfection!

Who can pass up a good biscuit!?  Angel Biscuits is the perfect combination of a biscuit and a yeast roll. Sour Cream Biscuits are soft and tender and I love the flavor fresh herbs give these Flaky Herbed Biscuits.

Whenever we have a nice big family dinner, I like to have some fresh homemade bread.  But sometimes I run out of time or just forget to start the bread early enough.  That is when 7 Up Biscuits come to the rescue.  You can make these in minutes and they only take about 10 minutes to bake.  So even if dinner is almost ready, you still have time for a batch of fresh, warm, fluffy 7 Up Biscuits.

How to Make 7 Up Biscuits

Recipes don’t get much easier than this.  With just 4 ingredients and a few minutes you can make these yummy biscuits.  All you need is some Bisquick, 7 Up, butter, and  sour cream.

pouring dough onto counter

Start by mixing the sour cream and the Bisquick (pancake and baking mix) together until combined.  Then add the 7 up to the dough.  It will get very soft and wet.

Next, sprinkle some Bisquick onto the counter and pat the 7 up biscuit dough until it is about an inch thick, and then cut out round biscuit shapes with a biscuit cutter or glass.  Add enough dry Bisquick so that you can handle the dough without it totally sticking to your hands.cutting out biscuits

Pour melted butter into a 9×9 pan and then place the cut biscuits over the butter.

Then bake for 8-10 minutes at 450 degrees.  And that’s it!

The combination may be a little strange but let me tell you the biscuits are not!  What you get is an incredibly light, fluffy and tender biscuit.  They practically melt in your mouth!

They really don’t need anything else but of course a little bit of butter always makes everything better.

7Up waffles are great, too! Just sub the 7Up for the milk in the recipe on the Bisquick box. Delish!

I just made these this morning for the kids and they LOVED them! So fluffy and moist without being doughy! And…I used the leftover Sprite from making crock pot pulled chicken. 🙂

Any lemon lime soda should work – 7 up, Sprite, Sierra Mist even generic store brand. Enjoy!
