If you love smoothies for breakfast or as a healthy snack, you will love this delicious Banana Mango Smoothie recipe!

I am a smoothie girl and love starting my day off with a green smoothie. My husband is the green smoothie maker at our house though.  He gets up at 4:45 a.m. every morning for work and makes a double or triple batch and leaves me one or two in the refrigerator for breakfast and lunch.  Isn’t he a sweetie?

I love to try different combinations of fruit with whatever I happen to have on hand or in the freezer.  A few weeks ago I bought a big bag of frozen mango at Costco so I decided to create a banana mango smoothie.  I was in the mood for something tropical.

How to Make Banana Mango Smoothie

  • Combine frozen mango, banana, pineapple juice, lime juice, and yogurt to your blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Add additional fruit if you would like the smoothie thicker, or thin out the smoothie with some extra juice.
  • Enjoy immediately or cover and store in the fridge for up to 3 hours. Smoothie will need to be stirred or shaken to bring the ingredients back together before drinking.

I have a kitchenaid blender that is about 12 years old and ready to retire, so this would be the perfect replacement! I just love frozen mango in my smoothies, I haven’t tried the pineapple juice yet. It sounds delicious 🙂

I love to put spinach in most smoothies. Good way to get the veggies in for the day.
