Chipotle Dip has a creamy texture and smoky flavor thanks to chipotle chilis in adobe sauce. The dip comes together in minutes and packs a punch in the flavor department.
I originally developed this recipe as part of the Lipton Recipe Secrets Dip to Win Contest and I was one of the finalists in the competition. It’s a good one!
This chipotle dip incorporates some of my favorite flavors including chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, cilantro, lime and Monterey jack cheese.
Combine all those ingredients with some sour cream and Lipton Secret Recipes Onion Mix and you’ve got a winner!
Ingredients Needed
- Sour Cream
- Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- Cilantro
- Chipotle Chilis in Adobe Sauce
- Monterey Jack cheese
- Fresh Lime Juice
How to Make Chipotle Dip
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.
- Chill dip until ready to serve.
- Garnish with some additional chopped cilantro.
Serve With:
- Tortilla Chips
- Potato Chips
- Pretzels
- Crackers

Chipotle Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
- 2-3 chipotle chilis in adobe sauce chopped small
- 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and then chill.
- Serve with tortilla chips
