This Copycat Chick fil A Frosted lemonade is the perfect summertime treat.
I have spent a lot of time in Utah the past few months. It is one of my favorite places to go because I get to see my girls when I am there and this last trip my boys were there too. I now have another secret reason I like to go to Utah. It is called a Chick fil A Frosted Lemonade. If you don’t have a Chick-fil-A near you, I have you covered with a copycat frosted lemonade recipe!
I don’t have any Chick fil A restaurants near where I live although rumor has it there is one coming soon. On my last visit to Utah I drove by Chick fil A and noticed a sign advertising a Frosted Lemonade. Not one to pass up a lemon treat I had to stop and check it out. Let’s just say I had to check it out more than once to make sure I really liked it. And I did.
Frosted lemonade is the perfect summer treat. A combination of cool ice cream and delicious lemonade.
Now that I’m home in Oregon and there are no Chick fil A’s close by. And that means no Chick fil A frosted lemonade. So, I decided to make my own at home. It’s simple. All you need is ice cream, lemonade and a blender.
After it is all blended up nice and smooth pour it into a nice tall glass, add a straw and enjoy.
Or you may need a spoon. This frosty summer drink is one of the best way to enjoy a warm summer day!

My favorite kitchen tools for making FROSTED LEMONADE:
VITAMIX – this baby is my favorite. We use it every morning to make a smoothie but it’s great for milkshakes and pureeing soups too.

I made this when my 6 year old Granddaughter was visiting, sent Granddad t grocery to buy lemonade & ice cream, we loved it. We also added 4 large strawberries to blender. It was yummy. We shared the recipe and a picture of her eating it with her other Grandmother. Yummy. We have Chick Fil A’s near us and it is our favorite go to when we want something quick. They have a wonderful peach shake that is only available in the summer.
