Pea Salad is a classic and easy side dish. A delicious salad of crunchy peas, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and red onion, all covered in a creamy dressing.
Pea Salad is perfect for summer BBQ’s and potlucks. This salad comes together in a matter of minutes. The hardest part of this salad is not eating all the bacon you fry up before you get it into the salad. It is full of pretty color and has lots of great texture too.

Tips
- I like to use the petite peas you can find in the freezer section. Just thaw the peas first, no need to cook them.
- I used red onion but a yellow or white onion would work too.
- Cheddar Cheese is my favorite but feel free to use your favorite, maybe a Pepper Jack or Monterey Jack. I like to cube the cheese but you can also add shredded cheese
- This salad is served cold so keep it refrigerated until ready to serve.
