This is a cake I made after I had a similar dessert at a local Portland restaurant and practically licked my plate!  You MUST eat this cake with the lemon curd and whip cream – so good!  Don’t cheat and buy store bought lemon curd – it is easy to make.  Make your own, it is so worth it!!
