Finding the Pretty & Delicious Linky Party #23

Today is a pretty momentous one at our house.

We no longer have any teenagers!!!  Our baby turned 20 years old today.  Not sure how that happened.

Tessa Leigh is a true blessing and source of joy to our family.  From the day she was born she has been loved, spoiled and adored. Her siblings call her the Little Princess but I guess that is a right and privilege that comes with being the baby of the family. We didn’t’ think she was ever going to learn to walk because anytime she whimpered someone would pick her up – that included her family and all the neighbors!

We are so proud of the beautiful young woman she has become.

And we can’t wait to see the amazing woman you will become!!  We love you sweet girl!!!

A few things from my week via Instagram:

We love where we live and one of the reasons we love it so much is because Portland is so weird!  You just never know what you are going to see or find around this city.  The other night when we went to dinner I found this – a crocheted covered street sign.  I bet your city doesn’t have one of those!  #keepportlandweird!

Because we’ve been having such nice summer weather I’ve been having to wear my sunglasses all the time.  The only problem with that is I usually lose a couple of pairs of sunglasses every summer.  But no more,  now that I have this darling sunglass case from Avenue Lou I know right where they are.  Avenue Lou makes a darling line of high quality sun glass cases.  They are so cute I had the hardest time choosing which one I wanted.  Check out their site for more info on the company.

Hope you enjoyed a pretty & delicious week!

The most viewed link from our last party was these amazing Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Billionaire Bars from Emmas Baking Addiction – oh my gosh.  Drool worthy for sure!

millionare barsWhat better way to celebrate summer than with a cute banner.  Check out the cute one 30 Handmade Days has as a free download!

One of our favorite summertime activities is making s’mores.  With this fun S’mores Pop recipe from The Crafted Sparrow you don’t even need a fire!

One of my favorite things about summer is all the beautiful flowers in my garden.  You can create your garden using this Create a Splattered Paint Garden from My Flower Journal. I love watercolors!

Hi Leigh Anne! I know how you feel…my oldest child will turn 20 in two weeks and I’m trying not to think about it.

It’s amazing how the time with them is gone in the blink of an eye.

Your daughter is so beautiful and I know you must be so proud ;)

Tammy, When I clicked over to your blog it was so fun to see your face! So fun to find your blog. So I am going to be in Utah the first week of September and was wondering if you’d give me a few painting lessons. I took a watercolor class at BYU years ago and loved it and would love to try it again! What do you think?
