Have you ever started a project that you thought was quite simple but it continued to involve into another project and then another project and before you knew it you were up to your neck in projects!? That is pretty much what happened at our house this week. I can’t wait to show you what those projects are but you’re going to have wait a week or two because I want to show it to you all at once!
I helped a friend with her husband’s law school graduation party last weekend. We went for a Western theme and had BBQ and a fun pie bar for dessert! The tables were topped with red and white gingham fabric and then we put yellow and white daisies into mason jars. So easy but so fun!
The rest of the week was spent working on that project I mentioned. Can’t wait to share. But in the mean time I get to share a few things that caught my eye from last week’s linky party.
The most viewed link was this great organizational tip from The Real Thing with the Coake Family. I love it when you can be practical but pretty too!
Now for some ideas that caught my eye! So many delicious looking things.
I have never had the Waldorf Salad from California Pizza Kitchen but after looking at I Heart Eating‘s photo I will definitely be trying it. Especially now that Cali has a summer job at CPK! Unfortunately it is at the one in Utah. If you live in Provo go pay her a visit.
I am a big fan of copycat recipes so this one for Papa Murphy’s BBQ Chicken Pizza from Unsophisticated Kitchen looks like one I need to try too!
These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pretzel Bars from Dessert Now, Dinner Later are totally drool worthy!
It’s graduation party time around here and I thought this idea for a Shabby Vintage Graduation Party from Restyled Junk was great. I especially love the way she displayed the photographs!
If you are looking for practical and unique graduation gift this year the First Aid Kit and Printable from Kleinworth & Co. is a great idea.
If you have a stash of washi tape at your house like I do Ashley’s Dandelion Wishes has some great ideas for you on how to use it!
So now it’s your turn to share your pretty & delicious!!
