I hope it was a great week at your house. Around here we spent a little time at the Goodwill bins. I went looking for some vintage books I need for table decor for a wedding open house I am hosting but instead I found a bag of old vintage maps! Not complaining but I still need to find some books!
We did a little restaurant exploring with some friends and found a fun new little taco shop, Robo Taco on the east side of town. The tacos were delicious, especially the al pastor. After that we wandered around a bit in downtown Portland and discovered a fun little bakery (sorry can’t remember the name) and had ice cream at Ruby Jewel.
Jim and I had a weeknight date (you can do that when you are empty nesters) and went to Five Dollar Tuesday at the movie theater to see the movie 42. We LOVED it! I don’t even like baseball and loved the movie. It is the story of baseball player Jackie Robinson, the first black player to play in Major League Baseball. It is one of those movies where people actually clap at the end. Go see it!
This little boy also turned 29 years old this week!! Hard to believe my first baby is that grown up. Happy Birthday Logan!!
Hope you had a good week – now onto the linky party!!
