Calling All Lemon Lovers and Giveaway!

Spring is here! The daffodils are blooming in my garden so that means it must be Spring!

Nothing says Springtime to me more than lemon! I love lemon! In April I am hoping to overwhelm you with lots of wonderful new lemon recipes.

But I need your help.

I have a few great ones waiting to share but I’d love for you to share some of your favorite lemon recipes with me and then I can share some of them right here on the blog with everyone!

So…if you have a favorite lemon recipe please email it to me using the Contact button up above and you may see it featured right here on Your Homebased Mom!

Be sure and leave a comment below too telling me you are sending a recipe and the name of it.

Everyone who sends me a lemon recipe will be put into a giveaway for a couple of my favorite kitchen tools to use with lemons!! You’ll have to wait to see which ones until later in the week or at least until I get home from Spring Break and can take a picture of them!

But I promise you will want them!

You need to leave a comment below after you send the recipe because I will be using the Random Generator and the number of comments to pick the winner! You must submit a recipe in order to win!

10 Claudia March 30, 2009 at 11:35 am: Leigh Anne, I just posted a recipe for Lemon Angel Pie. It’s been my favorite “go to” recipe for Easter dinner dessert for years. It appears very labor intensive and ridiculously time consuming, but it really is pretty straightforward and definitely worth the effort. You might not need to include all the notes they have at the bottom either…I just disregard all that anyway! Looking forward to seeing all the lemon recipes.

19 Ellen March 31, 2009 at 7:10 am: I can’t claim this as my recipe but I can claim this to be about the “BEST LEMON RECIPE” I’ve ever made……..over and over and over……again. It’s the LEMON CAKE recipe from Ina Gartens cookbook “Barefoot Contessa” Parties. If you haven’t made this, you must. Come to think of it….there isn’t one recipe from any of her books that I haven’t liked. This one takes the (lemon) cake for sure!!!!! Need recipe and don’t own the book??? Go to the library or email me for it.
