Ingredients

butter
softened

packed light brown sugar

granulated sugar

vanilla extract

all purpose flour

baking soda

butterscotch chips

chopped nuts

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 pan
Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in large bowl until creamy
Add in vanilla extract and eggs; beat well
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, blending well
Stir in butterscotch chips and nuts, if desired and spread into pan
Bake 30-35 minutes or until top is golden brown and center is set. Do not overbake
Cool completely in pan on wire rack and cut into bars
Notes
Instead of butterscotch morsels add in white chocolate chips.
You can also replace the chips with chopped pecans or walnuts.
Instead of light brown sugar you can use dark brown sugar for a more intense flavor.
I love to serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top Drizzle the ice cream with some
caramel sauce
or butterscotch sauce.
You can rewarm leftover blondies in the microwave for a few seconds.
