Combine all sauce ingredients into a bowl, mix to combine.
Pour sauce over chicken
Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
Remove chicken from cooker and cut into bite size pieces, cover with foil to keep warm.
Strain liquid from crock pot and put into a saucepan on the stovetop.
Mix together 1/4 cup of mixture with 2 tsp cornstarch. Mix until smooth
Pour into sauce and stir over medium heat until thickened.
Spoon sauce over chicken. There will be excess sauce

Instead of chicken breasts you can also use boneless skinless chicken thighs.

I have found that most slow cooker recipes cook their chicken for too long, Depending on your heat setting it will be done in 2-4 hours. If it is finished cooking before you are ready to eat, just turn your slow cooker to warm.
