In a medium size bowl, combine all the cake ingredients in the order listed. Do not use the whole egg, use only 2 Tbsp of beaten egg.
Pour batter into greased baking dish.
Cinnamon Filling
In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients and mix together until well combined and smooth.
Drop topping by small spoonful (about 1 tsp.) onto the top of the cake batter.
Take a knife and cut through the mixture, allowing cinnamon to incorporate into the batter. Cut through the batter lengthwise and widthwise.
Bake for 24-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Glaze
In a small bowl combine glaze ingredients and stir until smooth and a nice glazing/drizzling consistency.
Remove the cake from the oven allow to cool partially before adding the glaze otherwise the glaze will melt into the cake.
Drizzle glaze over the top and enjoy!

Notes
Use any pan that holds 3 cups of liquid. My baking dish measures about 5 1/2 x 4 1/2. If all you have is an 8 x 8 inch pan double the ingredients. If doubling you could also use a 9 x 5 loaf pan.
To test if your cake is done, you can insert a toothpick into it and it should come out clean. It will also lightly brown around the edges and begin to pull away from the pan.
