Heat oil in a large heavy pan. Add onion and garlic and saute until onion is soft.
Add in turkey and cook until meat is cooked through.
Add in remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 40-50 minutes.

Slow Cooker: Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil in a pan on the stove. Add in turkey and cook until cooked through. Then add all the ingredients into the slow cooker and cook for 6-8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high.
