Flatbread with Fresh Herbs
One of my favorite ways to use herbs is in bread. Not only does this

Ingredients
1
lb.
Pizza dough
1/2
cup
fresh basil leaves
2
tsp.
fresh rosemary leaves
chopped
1
Tbsp
chives
chopped
1
egg
beaten
1/2
cup
Parmesan cheese
grated
1/2
cup
Mozzarella Cheese
grated
1-2
tsp
garlic
minced, optional
Instructions
Heat oven to 375 degrees
Divide dough in half and roll into two rectangles.
Place one rectangle on ungreased cookie sheet
Place fresh herbs onto dough.
Place second rectangle over the herbs
Flatten a little with rollling pin or bottle
Brush egg over top and sprinkle with cheeses. Add minced garlic if desired.
Bake until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes
Notes
Garlic - you can substitute 1 tsp of garlic salt of garlic powdered instead of fresh garlic if desired
