oz.
candy bar
chopped, divided. Such as Milky Way, Snickers, Rolos, Reese Peanut Butter Cup, 3 Musketeers

cup
whole milk
1 1/2
cups
sugar
1 1/2
cup
half and half
2
cups
whipping cream
1/4
tsp
salt
1 1/2
Tbsp
vanilla
Instructions
Melt 4 oz. of chopped candy in one cup of milk in microwave or in a pan on the stove top.
Stir often so it doesn't burn.
Stir until candy melts into milk. Cool mixture.
Add in remaining ingredients except for the 2 oz. of remaining chopped candy bar.
Put into ice cream maker and process according to directions.
When ice cream is almost done processing, stir in remaining 2 oz. chopped candy bar.
Notes
Makes 1.5 quarts. Use your favorite candy bar. I love to use Twix, Milk Way or Snickers.
