Glazed Ham Steak

1 - 1.5
lb.
ham steak
bone in or boneless
1
Tbsp
butter

Tbsp
brown sugar
2
Tbsp
maple syrup
1
Tbsp
mustard
I use Dijon mustard
1/2
Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1/2
tsp
paprika
or cayenne pepper
Instructions
Mix together glaze ingredients - brown sugar, maple syrup, mustard, vinegar and paprika.
Melt butter in a frying pan. Add ham steak.
Brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Brush each side with glaze mixture and cook for 2-3 more minutes per side or until glaze caramelizes and is sticky.
Remove from heat and serve.
Notes
Be sure it is fully cooked about 1/3 - 1/2 inch thick. If your ham is thinner, cook for less time.
You can use whatever kind of mustard you prefer. Dijon, yellow, spicy, brown etc.
