Sweet and Spicy Chicken
This easy Sweet and Spicy Chicken is the perfect combination of a little heat and a touch of sweetness.This chicken dish will quickly become a family favorite. In comes together in about 20 minutes and is a perfect weeknight dinner idea.

- 4 Tbsp brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp freshly minced ginger
- 2 tsp freshly chopped garlic
- 1-2 tsp asian chile sauce
- 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2" strips
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup cornstarch, for coating
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and asian chile sauce.
Place chicken in bag or bowl and coat sliced chicken with cornstarch.
Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add chicken and brown on all sides.
Pour sauce mixture over chicken. Simmer, uncovered until sauce thickens. About 5-8 minutes.
Serve over rice, with a side of sauteed vegetables. Sprinkle with green onion if desired.
