Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom of a 9 x 5 bread pan.
In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, combine vanilla, eggs, mashed bananas, sugar, oil and peanut butter. Stir to combine.
Fold in peanuts and add wet mixture to dry mixture. Stir just to combine.
Pour into prepared loaf pan. Drizzle with 1/4 cup of the strawberry jam. Use a knife to swirl the jam into the batter.
Bake for 70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cover with foil for last 15 minutes to prevent it from getting too brown. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
Remove from pan when completely cool.
In a small pan heat up the remaining jam and brush over the top of the loaf before slicing.
