Add in all remaining ingredients except for cheese tortellini
Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours. Remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and add cheese tortellini. Cook for an additional 30 minutes and serve.
Season with salt and pepper to taste

Stovetop Method: Place all the ingredients except for tortellini into a large dutch oven or soup pot on stovetop. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. And simmer until chicken is cooked through, Shred chicken and then add tortellini and cook until tortellini is tender.Leftover soup will last 3-4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
