The Best Hot Fudge Sauce is so easy to make, comes together in minutes and is thick, fudgy and delicious. We've been making my mom's recipes for years!
2cupschocolate chipsdark, semi sweet or milk chocolate
1 1/3cupsevaporated milkcan also use half and half
1/2cupbutter
2cupspowdered sugar
1tspvanilla
Instructions
Melt chips, butter, milk and powdered sugar
Bring to a boil
Cook for 4 minutes - stirring constantly
Take off heat and allow to thicken
Add vanilla

Recipe makes 2 cups of hot fudge sauce.I recommend storing the hot fudge sauce in the refrigerator but because of the high sugar content it is fine to keep at room temperature. It will last longer if stored in the fridge. Rewarm in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stovetop.You can store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks and it will last in the freezer for up to 12 months.
