Lemon Bread

Ingredients

Bread:

  • 1 C sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1 ½ C flour
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking powder
  • ½ C milk
  • Grated rind of one lemon
  • 2 eggs

Glaze:

  • 1/3 C powdered sugar
  • Juice of one lemon

Instructions

Bread:

  • Mix all ingredients, pour into loaf pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Glaze:

  • Mix together then pour on top of bread while warm and still in the pan
  • Let cool in the pan and then remove
