Rosemary & Thyme Candied Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 5 tsp olive oil
  • 5 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or chipotle chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 3 tsp fresh thyme finely chopped
  • 2 cups walnut pieces
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix together olive oil, honey, cayenne, rosemary and 2 tsp thyme.
  • Add walnuts and stir to coat.
  • Spread in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and stir to coat. Sprinkle with remaining thyme and salt.
  • Allow to cool
