Toffee Blondies in a Jar

Ingredients

packed brown sugar
1/2
cup
miniature semisweet chocolate pieces

cup
all purpose flour
1
teaspoon
baking powder
1/4
teaspoon
salt
3/4
cup
coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2
cup
toffee pieces (I used the chocolate toffee pieces
Instructions
Directions:
In a quart jar, layer brown sugar, chocolate pieces, flour, baking powder, salt, nuts and toffee pieces. Fasten lid.
Include instruction for making bars
To make toffee blondies:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease an 8x8x2 inch baking pan.
In a bowl combine, 1/4 cup butter, 2 lightly beaten eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Stir in contents of the jar.
Spread batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown,
Remove from oven and allow to cool in pan on a wired rack.
