Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 C butter
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 C flour
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 C regular oats not instant

Instructions

  • Cream until fluffy: butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, and eggs
  • Add: flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, and regular oats
  • Form into rolls
  • Refrigerate - can be frozen
  • You can also bake them right away without refrigerating
  • Just use a cookie scoop, don't form them into a log
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
