This giant sugar cookie is crispy around the edges and soft in the middle. You can make it with sprinkles or top it with buttercream frosting

Ingredients

butter
softened
1/4

sugar
salted

egg
beaten
1/4
tsp
vanilla extract
1/3
cup
all purpose flour
plus 1 Tbsp

baking soda
pinch of salt

sprinkles
Buttercream Frosting

Tbsp
butter
softened

cup
powdered sugar
1/4
tsp
extract
almond or vanilla
pinch of salt

tsp
milk
if needed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together softened butter and sugar.
Add in egg and vanilla. Mix to combine.
Add in dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Form into a ball and roll in sprinkles if desired
Place on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 14-15 minutes. Cookie will be golden brown around edges and soft in the middle.
Buttercream Frosting
Mix together butter, sugar, extract, salt. If needed, add in milk to get a nice smooth spreading consistency.
Frost cooled cookie.
