We are big green smoothie drinkers at our house – every morning. My husband is in charge of making our smoothies. He goes to work pretty early so he gets up and makes them and leaves them in the fridge for me. Aren’t I lucky!
Well, sometimes there are mornings when there just isn’t time. Maybe someone oversleeps?? Or it is just a crazy busy day and there just isn’t time. Today I want to introduce you to a fun new product from Dole that can fill in the gaps when there just isn’t time for breakfast or you need a healthy treat while you’re running out the door.
Dole Shakers are the perfect solution.
I know a lot of you would love to make a smoothie every morning but you just don’t have a blender that will do it. Well there is no blender required with the Dole Shaker! All you need is some fruit juice and then shake!
They are quick and easy and delicious. My personal favorite is the Pineapple Mango with Sweet Potato and Carrot. I promise you, you’re kids will never know there is sweet potato and carrot in there! What a fun way to get your kids to eat their vegetables! Other flavors include Strawberry Raspberry with Red Beet and Purple Carrot and Blueberry Banana with Red Beet as well as a few others.
I found the Dole Shakers in the freezer section (next to the frozen juice) at my local Albertson’s store.
There is a fill line on the side that lets you know how much juice to add. I like mine a little thicker so actually added less juice than the extra thick fill line.
The Shakers are a combination of fruit, vegetables and Greek Yogurt.
After filling it with juice and giving it a few shakes you are ready to go. You can grab a straw or drink it right out of the container.
They also contain Greek yogurt which gives you some extra protein and calcium which is great. A great breakfast on the go idea from Dole!
