I am counting my blessings this week. Life is fragile and this year has taught me that more than anything. I have had so many conversations with friends lately whose lives have been touched by some pretty sad and tragic things and the one lesson they are all coming away with is we have to live our lives one day at a time, appreciate each day we are given and to find the pretty in each of those days.
I hope you will enjoy the pretty I sought out this week. There are days when the pretty is hard to find but it is always there – we just need to take the time to find it.
Day 316 – November 15
Day 317 – November 16
As I was running into the high school to take pictures of the dress rehearsal for Three Musketeers this week, this tree caught my eye. I loved the color of the pretty lichen on the tree and I just had to stop and take a picture.
Day 318 – November 17
I know you have already seen this cake but it is so pretty I just can’t stop looking at the pictures.
Day 319 – November 18
The garden is fading.
Day 320 – November 19
It is getting colder here in Portland and I am loving the frost in the garden
Day 321 – November 20
Breakfast with my Babes this morning. Such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning – good food, friends and conversation. It always brings a sense of peace and calm to my soul to spend time with these ladies.
Day 322 – November 21
More frosty goodness in the garden.
