This Eggless Cookie Dough is perfect all cookie dough lovers! Â No baking required.
Welcome to Melanie from Reasons to Skip the Housework today  I am excited about her recipe because it is for eggless cookie dough and I have several friends who are allergic to eggs. And she’s got a cute printable for you!  I also love the idea of giving cookie dough instead of cookies as a holiday gift then people can bake them up when they want them and have a hot, fresh cookie.  Be sure to visit Melanie at her blog to enter to win a Blendtec Blender then check out what Mique and Cindy are sharing as part of the Craft and Sew!
A big HELLO and Happy Holidays to everyone! I’m Melanie from Reasons To Skip The Housework. I feature recipes, crafts, and home decor from all over blogland, and even find time to do some of my own baking and crafting. When I’m not blogging or being a mom, I’m a trainer at the Apple Store {think computers}! In my down time, I find myself baking a lot with my 4 year old girl.
We’re especially great at baking sweets. They don’t last long in our house, but I don’t mind making more, so it’s an ok problem to have! I love baking cookies because my husband and my girl love cookies, and I LOVE to eat the cookie dough. I am the girl who stares at the back of the cookie dough package {the part that says DO NOT EAT RAW DOUGH} WHILE chowing down on dough. I know it’s not good for me in so many ways, but in my opinion, the dough tastes way better than the cookies.
I love to gift edible gifts, but I don’t want to risk killing my friends, so instead, I made eggless cookie dough that I can gift to my besties, and even made cute gift tags to go with each jar of cookie dough!
Making eggless cookie dough is simple and makes for a delicious handmade gift!
So print off your own gift tags for eggless cookie dough, and make someone’s day! I made pre-made labels for Toffee & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Hershey’s Kiss Cookie Dough. {The mini Hershey’s Kisses are in the baking aisle, and so are the Heath toffee bits.}
Don’t forget to stop on over to REASONS TO SKIP THE HOUSEWORK and enter to win a Blendtec Blender worth $650.
Just think of all the smoothies you could make with that bad boy!

As I am allergic to eggs, I am not much of a baker, I would like to try these cookies. What would be a resonable amount of chips to add? How long should they cook for and at what temp? Thanks.
Leigh Anne says
Mary Clark, This dough is not intended for baking, just for eating. Because there are no eggs in them it won’t bake up well. You can add as many chocolate chips as you’d like, according to your own taste.
Cindy says
Since this has milk in it….does it need to be refrigerated or how long will it last out on the shelf?
Leigh Anne says
Cindy, Melanie does recommended keeping it refrigerated. She keeps it refrigerated 7-10 days but also rolls it into balls and puts in freezer and enjoys it later!
Lisa says
Do you need to keep the dough refrigerated? How long does it last for? Looks great!
Leigh Anne says
Yes, Melanie recommends keeping it refrigerated, from 7-10 days. Can be frozen too.

Looks really good! I love anything like this that is eggless…because I really love cookie dough much better than actual cookies. Well, I can’t really say that. I love them both, but I would probably take cookie dough over a cookie if I had the choice. 🙂

I’m with you – I eat my share of cookie dough and cookies!!
