You Can Make This Giveaway

by Leigh Anne on December 15, 2008

I am so excited to be able to offer this great giveaway being sponsored by You Can Make This!  As I mentioned in the previous post I met Kim and Kris who started the site at a conference in September.

Their site is a library of hundreds of down-loadable patterns you can purchase for anything from an apron to a beaded necklace or how to bake a pie!   It’s just like a virtual home ec class.  I loved using the pattern for the reversible headbands – so easy to use and understand!

In these hard economic times, people are becoming more and more interested in Do It Yourself (DIY). This is especially true with Christmas coming up and people wanting to make some of their gifts.

All the instructions for the down-loadable patterns are written by everyday moms who have an expertise in an area. They are written in a way that makes you feel you have a friend sitting right next to you, telling you what to do next. They all have detailed instructions and step-by-step pictures so even someone who has never made these before, can do so for their homes and families.

Kim and Kris have graciously donated $50.00 worth of down-loadable patterns for a giveaway to one of my blog readers!  You will receive patterns for all of the following darling items!!  If you are not a sewer or crafter yourself, now may be a great time to learn or you can give them as a gift to a friend!

44 Sara December 15, 2008 at 8:21 pm

Darn it, I was hoping there would be less entries! lol. This one was made for me! Santa brought me a sewing machine this year and it’s sitting under my tree with a big red bow on it. I know how to *use* a sewing machine (as in thread it etc), but it’s been years since I’ve done it, and to be honest, I don’t really know how to sew, lol. So I’m SEW (haha) excited to go check out that website. That’s exactly what I need. Here’s me sending subliminal messages over the internet- pick me pick me pick me! lol.
