Visits to Santa

by Leigh Anne on December 24, 2009

Yesterday we continued a 25 year old family tradition- having our family picture taken with Santa.  We alway visit the real Santa too, the Santa at Macy’s in downtown Portland.

I must admit my 23 and 25 year old boys did give me a bit of a hard time this year as they stood in line with dozens of children ten and under!  But they love their mother and they went along to make me happy.

We made it for 25 years  – we’ll see if they’ll give me 26…..

Santa

Merry Christmas!

I am sure the boys weren’t thrilled standing in line with kids but the photo is so worth it. It came out great! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

What a fun tradition! I love that your kids were willing to do that for their mama! :)

What good boys. I hope mine would do that for me when they get older. Mine are 15 and 13 this year :)

I LOVE it! Great picture, too. Everybody looks happy. (Maybe because they are no longer standing in line?)

Happy day after Christmas…

I just received the sweet little Sweet Sensations basket of goodies. Thanks to both you and Sweet Sensations. I’m sending this on to my granddaughter, who has been working long hours this season, filling in for people out with flu — she’s a nurse who assists with special procedures. She’s deserving of a little pampering this season. Thanks again for hosting give-aways, Leigh Anne…
Happy New Year…to you and your family.

You should post all 25 years to show how much your family has changed over the years. Your boys must really love you…

The fact that your grown children agreed to do this for you at their age really says a lot about you as a mother. What a beautiful family you have. I enjoy your blog thoroughly.
