Saturday Morning

This Saturday we made our weekly visit to the Beaverton Farmer’s Market.  We picked up some yummy blueberries, peaches, corn on the cob and cherries.

Fresh from Farmer's Market

We were enjoying our usual Farmer’s Market breakfast of a huge Canby Breakfast omelet

omelet

and of course a yummy crepe from Zest Crepes.

I had gone to find something to drink and when I got back there were three women talking to the rest of my family.  These 3 darling, fun women are some of my blog readers.  They had actually recognized my girls!

They came up and asked them if they were the Homebased Mom kids – how fun is that!   My girls felt a little bit like celebrities and jokingly asked if they were going to need to get a bodyguard!!

It was so fun to meet Amber and her friends!!  Of course I had my camera with me so we had to take a picture!

Homebased Mom Fans

The girls asked me what I was doing at the market and I revealed to them a secret – they were one of the very first to hear about a new project  my friend Meg and I are working on!

I can’t wait to tell you all about it but the rest of you are going to have to wait until next week – sorry!!

Maybe I’ll see you at the Farmer’s Market next week!  Be sure and say hi!!

It’s nice to see other members of your fan club!

I just have one question…how does someone so talented with food and cooking stay so slender?? You must not have tasted a one of those cupcakes you made for the recent wedding!

Leigh Anne, I just had this overwhelming feeling like you are such a good friend even though we’ve never met. I love reading about you and your kids (my four are a little older than yours!) and all the fun things you do together. I read about the funeral you went to and doesn’t it warm your heart to know the truth when you hear it? Just wait until you reach the grandparent stage of your life! It’s the best ever. Oh, and I’m sorry you hurt your ankle. I would have helped you untangle, had I been there. :)
