Your yard is so beautiful!! I would sneeze my head off, though! Here we did have tons of wildflowers, which are really pretty . . . but now it's in the mid to upper 90s and very humid, so everything is dying off really fast! I have never had any luck with roses. They always come down with black spot and die. In the Northeast our lilacs have just finished, but I've got some beautiful daisies! My bachelor buttons are coming to their first end, and since it rained this week, our peonies are beginning to fall over and fall apart. My pink coneflowers are about 2-3 weeks away from blooming. They are my favorite all summer long. I don't have to do anything to them. They just scream for the butterflies to come and visit them! The roses are beautiful! I have never had any luck with roses.
