I wanted to marry a Mr.Darcy but I fortunately ended up with a Bingley :) I love anything penned by Jane Austin however the novels that have most influenced my adult life were written by Lucy Maud Montgomery! I always hope I can be the sort of "mummy" that Anne is to her children and the wonderful wife she is to her beloved doctor husband Gilbert. Especially since my very own Mr.Bingley just happens to be in medicine as well :)I strongly reccomend the entire series! I also fell in love with Pride and Prejudice! I re-read my Bible all the way through every year, and I read mysteries voraciously, although few are re-reads. Usually only classics make my re-read list (I agree with many of the others - Jane Eyre and Little Women are also excellent re-reads). I will say, though, that I recently read Twilight out of curiosity (I am a counselor at a high school and so many students have bragged about the book I had to check it out); anyway, I was pleasantly surprised. I doubt that I will re-read it, but it was better than I expected. I think I was expecting more of an Interview with a Vampire (a book I never finished in the 80s) . . . this one is much better!!!
