I am a paper person.
I love paper.
My love of paper is one of the reasons I am a scrapbooker.
I write everything down on paper.
Last week I went to Anaheim/Disneyland to attend a convention for my direct sales company. Each year I like to take a little gift for the members of my first line team who attend. Just a little something to let them know I appreciate them.
What better than a gift of paper!
This year I bought some of those $1.00 composition books we all used in school. I love those notebooks. I keep one by each of my phones where I write down messages, info etc.
Well, you know my Pretty Philosophy – i f you have to have one it might as well be pretty!
Since the theme of the convention was Reach for the Stars, I covered the front and back cover of the notebooks with some star scrapbooking paper.
I cut the paper to size and then used spray adhesive to attach it to the notebook cover.
I cut the paper too short for one of the notebooks so I just found some coordinating paper and patched it up! I think it looks like I meant to do that!
I found coordinating ribbon and then hot glued it onto the spine area.
The final touch was the word Reach which I typed out in a font called junko’s typewriter which I got for free at dafont .
With all the getting ready for back to school some of you are doing, maybe a few personalized notebooks might be just the thing!

These are wonderful! Did you fold over the edges and miter the corners or what? What a wonderful gift and our Wal Mart has the books on right now for 70 cents. . . . . .THANKS FOR SHARING!
Those are so cute! Definetely writing that down on my craft list of things to do!! (I may just make one for my craft list, then it can be my crafty notebook that I made to keep track of my craft projects!)
We made these at girls camp (slight differences) and it was my favorite craft of all of them. Yours looks great!
I love your website!! Do you happen to be a part of Uppercase Living? I see that your convention was in Anaheim and that’s the same time & place the UL convention was. Just curious! I joined UL a few months ago and just love it! I’m bookmarking your site and plan to check back often!
My friend Kristen and I loved these and are using our notebooks to “blog in a book” and keep ourselves motivated and looking for the pretty! I miss Cali something awful at our store! Stop by and see my notebook!
