Hi. This is the same system that I use and I also mainly have the large Costco ribbon. If you gently work the bars that aren’t being used forward and back you can remove them. Then the Costco size spools fit perfectly on the remaining two bars!

http://www.ribbonring.com has an interesting product for hanging pieces of ribbon not on spools. Life’s a Scrapbook in Sherwood, Oregon sells them if you’re local.

How about some big clear glass jars. That way they would look pretty and be decoration too. I have bought some inexpensive jars at Target and Crate and Barrel that I use in my kitchen for flour, sugar etc. that would work.
