Thanks to all of you who have been sharing something you have learned from your mother after I shared Five Things My Mother Taught Me - it has been so fun and inspirational to read all of them! I know there are a lot more of you still out there who haven’t entered the giveaway yet.
So I went over and entered one of Pioneer Woman’s giveaways the other day and I think I was number 3,252! Seriously!! Yes she will get over 10,000 entries on one of her giveaways!!
I have set a new goal for myself or I guess for you! I would LOVE to have at least 200 entries on my Mother’s Day Giveaway – it would make me smile and make me feel so good! So….if you haven’t entered yet please do so – pretty please! What’s 200 compared to 10,000!!
If you have entered please send the link to a friend and ask them to enter, for me please! (so can you hear the little whine in my voice?)
Just click here and scroll down to the end of the post to enter a comment. The comments are working once again so you shouldn’t have any problems.
I know, I.know, telling your friends about the giveaway makes your chances of winning a little smaller but won’t you do it for me – please. Maybe we could get more than 200!!!
I know I have a few friends and family that read my blog too and you can enter too!! And yes mother – that means you!
Pretty please! You have until Friday, May 9th at midnight PST!

I just twittered about the give away! Hope you get to 200!
Here’s one closer to 200… and hopefully some pretty stuff for me!
Love ya Leigh Anne!
My Mom always told me to be nice to everyone even if they aren’t nice to you. You may need them sometime if your life.
I just wanted to tell you I love your blog. You are an amazing person and mother. If only some of us could be part of what you are. Thanks for all the wonderful recipes. I can spend hours on your site.
My mom taught me many things unknowingly. Her actions have always spoken louder than words. She taught me the value of education by volunteering in my classrooms. She taught me the value of preserving memories by taking thousands of photos of my childhood and storing them in photo albums. Thanks to her actions, I understand how important it is for me to model these things for my own children.
My Mother has taught me so much so where do I even start from.
1. Never judge anyone unless I walked in their shoes.
2. Never speck ill of anyone.
3. She taught me to pray daily.
4. Always put someone else before myself.
5. Taught me the love of going to church every sunday and remember what the good Lord has done for me.
