Most Wanted Sandwich Competition – I Need Your Help!

You may or not remember that in December I paid a visit to the test kitchens of Sara Lee and Hillshire Farms outside of Chicago.
I told you a little about the fun I had on the trip but not the real reason I was there. I was sworn to secrecy. Well, now I can tell you!

I was invited to be a part of Hillshire Farm’s “Fresh Fifteen” and participate in their Most Wanted Sandwich Contest. Fifteen bloggers were asked to submit a sandwich recipe for their contest. While I was back there their professional food stylists made my sandwich and a professional food photographer took a picture of it and a picture of me.

Starting today my sandwich along with 14 other sandwiches are are part of the Most Wanted Sandwich Contest. And guess what? I want to win! And I can with your help.

You can go to their website every day between now and March 20th (yes, that is a long time) and vote for my sandwich – The Northwest Tailgate Sandwich. When you go in and vote for me you will also receive a coupon for $2.00 off your next Hillshire Farm purchase. You can vote every day (but you’ll only get the one coupon -sorry!)  You can also vote each day from each of your computers and your phone!

You can also get the recipe for my sandwich on the website!

There is a little bit of a prize for me too! The cash prize is $10,000. I have the opportunity to donate half of it to the charity of my choice and the other half goes to me. My charity of choice is Make a Wish Foundation.  I hope to be able to help provide dreams  come true for several of their children!

S0 – I’d love for you to share this little contest with all your friends and family and ask them all to vote for Your Homebased Mom’s Northwest Tailgate Sandwich here.

Share it on your Facebook and on your blog. I’d love it if you’d vote everyday. I’ll be including some reminders in my blog posts so you don’t forget.

Thanks so much for your support and your vote!! Vote here!

I must say, I think my sandwich was the prettiest sandwich there!!

I voted! You need to get the word out on facebook to be a winner on one of those contests. Get your kids to spread the word.

I just voted….for your sandwich. I looked at them all to be fair before I voted, and yours is the best as far as I’m concerned! The BLT is in first place right now, and I’m really surprised….I mean….how original is a BLT??? Yours really shows some creativity. Be sure and remind us along the way to vote so we don’t forget. Good Luck!

I cannot get to a page that lets me vote. I’m on the “Most wanted Sandwich” page where it offers coupons for voting, but where do I go from there? What am I doing wrong?

Sorry are having problems. If you click where it says Vote Now, Save $2 a window should open up that shows all the sandwiches down at the bottom. Find my sandwich -you may have to scroll over as they all don’t fit in the window and then click on the sandwich. That should open another window with a picture of my sandwich and then you click on Vote Now, Save $2.00 and that’s it. Let me know if that doesn’t work for you.
